The girls started back to school last week and I jumped straight into building, marketing, and blogging to grow this business.

But something caught my attention earlier this week.

Someone who had downloaded my app, and already used it for a trip, DMed me asking how I made this screenshot I'd posted from our last trip.

Yes, that's $20,153 saved on this trip using credit card points and miles. 🤯

I never tallied a single one of those numbers. The app tracked it all while I planned, across multiple points programs, four currencies, and everything we'd prepaid months earlier. (To be clear, we'd never have paid that in cash. Points are what let us book nicer flights and hotels than we'd otherwise choose.)

They said, "Wait, how do you do this?!"

Well, I made the app that makes it and it's a free feature inside. 😂

I've spent years doing marketing for other people's brands and have done a genuinely bad job of marketing my own.

So let me just tell you. As you build your trip and add costs, the Costs tab will start to fill in. Then you simply click the "Share Your Savings" button to create a shareable card (square or story size).

If you'd like, you can add a photo background, and even blur your kiddos' faces to share on social media. The blurring happens right on your phone. The only thing that leaves is the final card you choose to share.

If you already have the app, it's in there right now. Open a trip, tap Costs, and scroll to the bottom to share your savings.
